Clownfish love to grub on algae, zooplankton, copepods, and tunicate larvae. You might be wondering “How are they omnivores when none of these words sound like meat?!” Zooplankton, copepods, and tunicate larvae are animals! Clownfish live in something called an Anemone. It's where they eat, sleep, and find food. The Anemone catches food for the clownfish by using their tentacles to sting the prey. The amount of food that a clownfish eats is based on how big they are. Large clownfish can go far from their anemone and search for food. Sadly, the smaller clownfish can only go a few meters away from their anemone.
